Watch Movies & Arts Come Alive at the Egyptian Theatre
The historic Egyptian Theatre is a vibrant performing arts complex situated on the Coos Bay Boardwalk. Built in 1925, this historic movie house plays current and classic movies, as well as a number of performing arts productions and community events. Take a step back in time and appreciate the adorned Egyptian Revival style as well as the operational Wurlitzer Hope-Jones Unit Orchestra organ, the only theater organ in the state of Oregon that is still in use. Due to the Theatre's historical significance, the Egyptian Theatre was declared a National Register of Historic Places on May 24, 2010.Details
